Apologies... :D

Hey everyone! I just want to apologize for my lack of blogging within the last four months. I've been exceptionally busy with school, writing, and active job searching. So my life has been pretty hectic!

Firstly, I have spring break this week, so my goal is to have reviews for the last four books that I have completed during my away time. They are as follows:
Each were good books in their own right and I can't wait to share my thoughts with you all about them.

Secondly, I have news about my works-in-progress. Shadow Rose has an updated count of 35,000 words. The Night Guardian novels have received their name changes and I have updated each word count to 15,000 (1), 11,000 (2), and 9,300 (3). I know it doesnt seem like alot, but I am using this week off as a means to get at least 5,000 words for EACH WIP. So, it's safe to say that spring break will still be a work week.

Thirdly, somehow I am going to get through at least four of the books on my to-read list and get a jumpstart on those reviews as well.

Once again, I apologize for my lack of book blogging and I promise to make it up to you all!!!

PS. There may be a giveaway in the works!! So stay tuned...

Happy Reading!!

Win an ARC of Holly Black's WHITE CAT from YA Booklover!!!

YA Booklover is having her first ever giveaway! To make it even better is that it's best-selling author Holly Black's White Cat!! She recently received an ARC of the novel and has decided to give it away! YAY!!

White Cat (The Curse Workers #1)

Cassel comes from a family of curse workers — people who have the power to change your emotions, your memories, your luck, by the slightest touch of their hands. And since curse work is illegal, they're all mobsters, or con artists. Except for Cassel. He hasn't got the magic touch, so he's an outsider, the straight kid in a crooked family. You just have to ignore one small detail — he killed his best friend, Lila, three years ago.
Ever since, Cassel has carefully built up a façade of normalcy, blending into the crowd. But his façade starts crumbling when he starts sleepwalking, propelled into the night by terrifying dreams about a white cat that wants to tell him something. He's noticing other disturbing things, too, including the strange behavior of his two brothers. They are keeping secrets from him, caught up in a mysterious plot. As Cassel begins to suspect he's part of a huge con game, he also wonders what really happened to Lila. Could she still be alive? To find that out, Cassel will have to out-con the conmen.
Holly Black has created a gripping tale of mobsters and dark magic where a single touch can bring love — or death — and your dreams might be more real than your memories. (Goodreads)

See, doesn't it just sound like a book you want to immerse yourself in? Of course it does!!
